Ghandruk is a Village Development Committee in the Kaski District of the Gandaki Province of Nepal. Situated at a distance of 32 km north-west to Pokhara, the village is readily accessible by public buses and private taxis from the provincial headquarter.
Chhomrong
Chhomrong is a village in the Annapurna area of Nepal and famous night stopover for those going to Annapurna sanctuary trek. Standing in the village you can enjoy the outstanding scenery of Himalaya, Hiunchuli, Machupachare, and Annapurna, especially in the morning when the sun just arise.
Deurali
Deurali is a Village Development Committee in Kaski District of the Gandaki province of north-central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census, it had a population of 2,882. The base camp of Mount Machapuchare is situated at a 6 hours uphill trek from the village.
Macchapuchre
Machapuchare, Machhapuchchhre or Machhapuchhre, is a mountain situated in the Annapurna massif of Gandaki Province, north-central Nepal. Its highest peak has never been officially climbed due to the impossibility of gaining a permit from the government of Nepal.
Jhinu danda
Jhinu Danda is a small ridgetop settlement that is famous for its hot springs. If you are in the mood for a dip, the hot springs are located about 20 minutes downriver along the Modi. It is a pleasant walk through rhododendron forest and if you are on your way down, the hot spring will take care of your sore limbs. The place is however closed during the monsoon from June to July. Also, no skinny dipping. Jhinu Danda is also the favored lunch spot for people coming from Landruk.
