Detailed Itinerary

  1. Day 1 Arrive Kathmandu

    Kathmandu

    It is a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time. A representative and driver will meet you at the airport and escort you to your designated hotel. The representative will help you check into hotel. At the hotel you will be briefed about your daily activities.

  2. Day 2 Kathmandu - Day Visits

    Kathmandu

    On this day, embark on a day visit in Kathmandu.

    PATAN DURBAR SQUARE

    Located 5 km southeast of Kathmandu, the Patan city popularly known as ‘the city of artisans’ accommodates a magnificent square housing the palace buildings of the then royals, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples - a display of Newari architecture that had reached its pinnacle during the reign of the Malla kings. It is filled with wood and stone carvings, metal statues, and ornate architecture, including dozens of Buddhist and Hindu temples, and over 1200 monuments.

    BOUDHANATH

    One of the oldest and the biggest Buddhist monuments ever built in Nepal; Boudhanath is a spherical stupa structure imposing at a height of 36 meters with three massive Mandala style platforms. Located 08 kilometres east of Kathmandu, the stupa with four pairs of eyes at the four cardinal directions is believed to be keeping watch for righteous behavior and human prosperity. Built on an octagonal base inset with 108 prayer wheels, the shrine is ringed by the settlement especially of the Tibetan refugees who entered Nepal in the 1950s. They have developed the place into a ‘Mini-Tibet’ ever since.

  3. Day 3 Fly To Pokhara, Drive To Nayapul (2 hours) Trek To Ghandruk (5-6 hours)

    Ghandruk

    Take a short flight to Pokhara. Once in Pokhara, drive to Nayapul (2 hours) and start the trek by walking to Birethanti. From Birethanti, we trek to Ghandruk, a beautiful village mostly inhabited by the Gurung community. If time permits, we also visit the Gurung museum today.

  4. Day 4 Trek To Chhomrong (5-6 hours)

    Chhomrong

    After breakfast, start your trek to Chhomrong. we climb up for around an hour up to Kimrungdanda. On the way, we can enjoy great views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre) and Ganggapurna. Next, it’s a steep descent takes us to the Kimrong Khola. After another steep ascent from Kimrong Khola to Chere Danda, we descend for a while and then it’s a gentle walk to Chhomrong. It is a beautiful village located on the lap of the giant Annapurna massive.

  5. Day 5 Trek To Bamboo (4-5 hours)

    Chhomrong

    Today the trail out of Chhomrong descends via 2500 stone steps and crosses the Chhomrong Khola on a swaying suspension bridge. From here, it is an uphill climb to Sinuwa. Next, we pass through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar followed by an easy downhill walk to Bamboo.

  6. Day 6 Trek To Deurali (4 hours)

    Deurali

    We pass through the bamboo forest which is damp and cold, then ascend steadily with a few steep sections. It is only after reaching Himalaya Hotel that the forest opens up and we are out in the sun again with astounding views of the glacial river below. It is a steep climb up through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. From here we can see the trail drop closer to the river before climbing again to Deurali, the most scenic stretch of the day. The vegetation is sparser, allowing magical views of the valley, the river below, and the sheer rock face cliffs above with bands of wispy waterfalls.

  7. Day 7 Trek To Annapurna Base Camp Trek Back To Macchapuchre Basecamp (7 hours)

    Macchapuchre

    Climb gently through a river bed, then over a steep trail over to the mountain side. The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is somewhat strenuous. From Machhapuchhre base camp we get excellent views of the majestic Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna which is certainly a rewarding experience. The vegetation disappears on our way to ABC and the path widens as we enter the Annapurna sanctuary. From here, we get sensational views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna towering above us. The sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding the 360-degree panorama. From the base camp we again get to savor mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and other peaks.

    Later afternoon trek back to Machapuchre Base Camp. (Note: - Most of the Lodges in Annapurna Base Camp were damaged by the heavy snow fall & avalanche in march 2019, we will have to trek back to Machapuchre Base Camp for good accommodation availability).

  8. Day 8 Trek To Bamboo (5-6 hours)

    Jhinu danda

    After your breakfast at the lodge, we retrace our steps to Bamboo. Today’s trek is downhill so it shouldn’t be very difficult. Besides, we will always have the company of the extraordinary landscape to cheer us up.

  9. Day 9 Trek To Jhinu Danda (5-6 hours)

    Jhinu danda

    From Bamboo, it is an uphill trek to Kuldighar followed by a downhill walk to Chhomrong Khola. Then we climb the stone steps to Chhomrong. The trail then descends to Jhinu Danda, where we will be resting for the night. Today we will have an opportunity to enjoy hot springs just 15-20-minute downhill walk from Jhinu Danda to soothe our aching body.

  10. Day 10 Trek To Nayapul (6 hours) And Drive Back To Pokhara

    Pokhara

    On our way to Naya Pul from Jhinu Danda we get to enjoy the amazing hill landscape of western Nepal. We have lunch on the way. Our trek will end at Naya Pul where we board our vehicle to Pokhara.

  11. Day 11 Fly Back To Kathmandu

    Kathmandu

    Morning is at leisure in Pokhara.

    Take an afternoon flight back to Kathmandu.
