The Jawai hills located in the Pali district of Rajasthan are known as the leopard hills, surrounded by Jawai Bandh and grasslands while the area is enclosed by the Aravali range. Considered among one of the lesser known tourist destinations, this place deserves much more attention than it gets. 

These hills were shaped by lava millions of years ago and now the natural caves house leopards and other wild animals of the area. The leopards of Jawai not only live together but also in harmony with humans which clearly contradicts that the big cats are solitary animals. Although Jawai is open from early September to mid of May, the best time to come here is from October to early April as the weather is less humid while the nights could be chilly.
