The Batasia Loop is a spiral railway created to lower the gradient of ascent of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway in Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India. At this point, the track spirals around itself through a tunnel and over a hilltop. It was commissioned in 1919.
Deolo Hill, located to the north-east of the town, is one of the two hills in between which the town of Kalimpong lies, known as the highest point in the town of Kalimpong. Located at a height of 1700 m, this hill has one of the best views of the city.
